Podcasts

Biblical Womanhood has a PODCAST!!! So totally cool! Check it out! Definitely worth listening to.

Which brings me to my question. I asked Crystal, and hopefully she will have some answers, but wanted to pose the question to my two or three faithful readers out there. :)

I would LOVE to listen to all these WONDERFUL podcasts out there, but wonder HOW you find the time? How can you care and play and enjoy your children and listen to so many podcasts? I have enough difficulty keeping up with the many wonderful blogs out there. I have heard that you can have it playing in the background while playing with the children, but obviously they have not been around my kids. They laughter and squeals overpower the volume of the podcast and I don’t get to hear and apply very much of what I am hearing.

Do you schedule in time to listen to your podcasts? Do you have some sort of quiet time for the children while the podcast is playing in the background? Or do you put on headphones and walk around listening to the iPod while the children do coloring or play outside?

I hope this is coming across with the heart that it is written. I sincerely want to know as I would LOVE to take advantage of podcasts. I just have never been able to make it work in the past.

How do you listen to your favorite podcasts? What are your favorite podcasts? Share them in the comments below! THANKS!

I don't have an Ipod, so I'm limited to listening with the computer nearby. I try to put on a show when I am "closing down the kitchen" before bed. I'm much more motivated to keep working if I have something interesting on!

I know what you mean. I don't want to put it on while the children are out and about because I don't want them to think I am ignoring them. There have been times however that I listen to a tape or something while I am in the kitchen, and I find our girls also listening and gleaning much wisdom from the tape. Being that the boys are still little, I try to listen when they are down for the night...but then I run into not wanting to ignore my beloved. lol I will have to think about this and get back to you. lol Sorry I was no help.

A few of my favorite podcasts are Hometown Tales, Wreckless Media Radio, and Switched On. As you can see i'm a fan of the comedy/interesting shows.
